ESRIC Interdisciplinary Consortium Meeting 2018

IGMM, University of Edinburgh

Tuesday 23rd January, 1pm – 5.30pm

The annual Edinburgh Super-Resolution Imaging Consortium (ESRIC) Meeting promotes interdisciplinary research in advanced and super-resolution optical imaging and its application to biomedical science.

ESRIC Summer School 2017

ESRIC – established as a partnership between Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt Universities - is founded on a strong collaborative network between researchers across the physical and biological sciences. This meeting hopes to provide the foundations for further collaboration and to encourage scientists to engage with the local imaging community.

To facilitate this, a meeting handbook will provide information about research areas, tools and reagents, imaging platforms and technologies.

Refreshments and networking reception will be provided.

ESRIC provides an openly accessible managed imaging facility, with state of the art platforms for imaging below the diffraction limit of light, and that can be used to address fundamental questions of normal cell function and its dysfunction in human disease. The facility is open to researchers from any field anywhere in the world with equal priority to all.
